My Mizu

At mymizu, we’re on a mission to reduce plastic consumption and enable people to live more sustainable lives - one bottle at a time! mymizu (“mizu” means water in Japanese) is an award-winning social enterprise, providing a platform that connects people to 200,000+ locations globally where they can refill their water bottle for free, instead of buying bottled water. It’s good for the wallet, body and planet! To date, we've engaged 25,000+ people across 40 countries, tracked the elimination of 9,000+ plastic bottles (equivalent to 100kgs of plastic waste), reduced 3,000kg of CO2 emissions, and helped people drink 4,500L of water - simply by refilling their water bottle instead of buying bottled water. Our goal is to make sustainable consumption the new norm, using plastic bottles as a "first step". Furthermore, we carry out educational and awareness raising activities at schools, universities, companies and events, as well as creating digital content to engage people to think and take action for the environment.
